Sometimes inspired by a particular gemstone, sometimes by a piece you have imagined, and sometimes by something deeply sentimental.
At Bowral Fine Jewellery, each bespoke piece is individually designed and fully handmade in our Bowral boutique and workshop using traditional goldsmithing techniques.
From beautifully understated pieces to intricate one-of-a-kind designs, every commission is approached individually, with careful consideration given to proportion, structure, comfort and the smallest details.
A PIECE THAT BEGINS WITH YOU
Bespoke gives us the freedom to create something that doesn't already exist.
A commission might begin with an extraordinary gemstone, an unusual combination of colours, a detail you have always loved, or simply an idea waiting to be explored.
From there, the design takes shape on paper, working through proportion, form and the finer details before a piece of precious metal ever reaches the bench.
Some designs are beautifully restrained. Others are intricate, bold or wonderfully unexpected.

Our bespoke pieces are created from precious metal and constructed by hand in our Bowral workshop using traditional goldsmithing techniques.
From alloying and forming the metal through to forging, assembling, stone setting and final finishing, the piece passes through our hands at every stage of its creation.

Whether you already have a clear idea of what you would like to create or would prefer to explore the possibilities together, the first step is a consultation with George & Rebecca at our Bowral boutique.
We'll sit down together to look at your ideas, gemstones, precious metals, proportions and the way you would like the piece to feel and wear, before beginning to put the design onto paper.
Our bespoke commissions are undertaken in limited numbers, allowing us the time required to individually design and fully handmake each piece.
