Thank you so much for curating the journey for my mother's sapphire engagement ring. I am absolutely thrilled with the result, as is my brother and he has only seen the photos!

My mother chose her engagement ring in 1951 and I believe it was purchased in an antique jewellery shop in London. She always had excellent taste and this ring was a symbol of the deep love that she and my father had for each other, which endured to the end of their lives.

There was never any doubt in my mind that I wanted to reset the ring and because it has been a much loved piece of jewellery in our family, it was important to me to make sure that the new setting did justice to the gems as well as uphold the love the ring represents.

George - you did a magnificent job throughout. The design process was totally in sync with what I wanted and your vision and expertise has brought everything together beautifully. The sapphire is the heroine of the story, the setting reveals its colours, light and life. The consideration and attention to detail as well as the passion and dedication you bring to your profession is evident throughout. I couldn't be more delighted. This ring will be a family heirloom for generations to come. Thank you both so much

I’m not eloquent enough to write a review deserving of the service we got from Rebecca and George.

They made the most exquisite wedding ring on a completely unrealistic timeframe due to my fiancé having a last minute existential crisis about the stock standard ring we’d purchased months ago. He wanted a ring that would be comfortable, functional and tough enough to be worn whilst working with his hands every day. The product he was presented with surpassed all of our expectations. For a tradie who has never had any appreciation of jewellery to suddenly be telling everyone he knows about his new ring is sentiment enough to the work they do. I’m in awe of the craftsmanship and beauty of their work and I’m almost sad we’ve discovered them because now I’ll never want jewellery from anywhere else.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My initial contact with George and Rebecca was in late June when I had seen them on my Facebook page and called in to see if they could repair a ring of my wife's that she was really fond of, as a surprise for our wedding anniversary.

I was surprised to see that this was the same place that I had been to with my wife, a year or so before when the business was run by Peter and at that time my wife had basically been told that it could not be repaired and to throw it in the bin! She was heartbroken as it meant so much to her. Personally, I was very annoyed that she had been told this and therefore when I realized that George and Rebecca had taken over the business, I was so glad to see that this Peter had left! When I approached George with the broken ring, he said that he could repair it without any hesitation. This he did and my wife was absolutely over the moon when I gave it to her on our anniversary. Since that time, we have given George quite a few pieces of old gold jewellery which he has turned into 3 stunning rings; two for me including an amazing signet ring and a beautiful new wedding ring, for my wife an equally beautiful signet ring also. We are blessed to have George and Rebecca as part of our Bowral Community, and we thank them both for our rings which we are very proud to wear. Lastly, George you are a true craftsman with an amazing talent to design and produce exquisite jewellery with the beautiful Rebecca by your side. Thank you both so much.

I had a very significant and special requirement for my eternity ring. Trusting someone with this special journey took me some time to find the right people. I found them in George and Rebecca! There are not enough superlatives to express how incredible they are! From my very first interaction with them, designing, tweaking, refining to work within my limitations… they were both so kind, creative, welcoming and artists in every way. The heart and soul they pour into each person and their projects is so rare. Nothing was too hard and they are soooo efficient!! I honestly felt like I was working with close friends or family. The claws on my engagement ring were substandard and George noticed those and now it looks amazing and so safe! I also had my beloved Mum and Grandmother’s engagement rings that needed repair and resizing…. When I collected those and showed my Dad… he said they looked brand new!! When my eternity ring was ready… they were super sneaky and colluded with my husband to surprise me! (I LOVED THAT). I am rarely speechless, but when I opened the box to see my ring… soooo many happy tears. I could not recommend George and Rebecca enough! "It started with a diamond. My husband’s grandfather purchased a diamond for his wife to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in 1949. The stone was set in a traditional Fleur de lis setting in platinum. Beautiful. The ring was handed down to my husband’s mother and then to me. I had it reinforced about 13 years ago and sadly, this was not done well. Recently a claw broke and the diamond was not safe, so I went to visit George and Rebecca to have it fixed.

The whole setting was compromised, and it was a lost cause. George told me he could recreate the ring in white gold, but I should go away and think about it. No pressure. The disappointment they had for my situation was tangible and their reaction to such poor craftmanship was real. George worked hard to recreate the intricate Fleur de lis design and produced a piece even more stunning than the original.

My husband was overwhelmed to see his grandmother’s ring so faithfully replicated down to the finest detail and to know her diamond lives on. And I shall delight in wearing it again knowing the stone is safe. Thank you George and Rebecca, it has been a delight to meet and work with you both Deb and John"
